- To promote and facilitate high-quality clinical research for the benefit of veterinary and human medicine

- To serve as a point of contact for investigators and sponsors interested in conducting in a clinical trial
- To coordinate and implement all aspects of a veterinary clinical trial
- To provide training and educational resources for faculty, residents, students and staff regarding veterinary clinical trials
- To form alliances with other campus units and outside collaborators
